Helena Made A Promise..
SCENARIO:
Helena and Peter were together for 50 years, and they dedicated themselves to each other. They never decided to have children because they wanted to live life together and travel around the world, which they did. When Helena met Peter, it was in elementary school, and they became friends right away. They were best friends all through school, and when they both reached high school, they decided to date, and they were together every day.
As the years went by, Helena decided to go to college, and Peter went to the military. He wanted to become a soldier in the Army because he wanted to have a great life. Helena was faithful to Peter while Peter was serving his military time. After two years, Peter had a bad incident, and he was honorable discharge from the Army. However, Helena never gave up on Peter. She continued to stay by Peter's side. They got married as soon as Peter left the military and lived their happy lives together. They both wanted a new life and a new environment. They relocated to North Carolina to be closer to Helena's family.
A year after Helena and Peter relocated, Peter died of complications in his breathing. One night Peter was sleeping in the bed, and he didn't wake up. Helena was devastated. She just lost the man of her life, and she didn't know what to do without Peter. Peter was the only man that Helena loved. Peter was always there for her and the only man she knew. Helena started to become withdrawn from herself and her family. She didn't know what to do or how to live without Peter. Helena became cold-hearted and stayed to herself. Helena slept all the time, and living life didn't mean anything to Helena anymore.
Then one afternoon, her favorite niece went over to Helena's home to visit. She wanted Helena to see her newborn daughter. Helena and Peter were her favorite aunt and uncle. When Helena's niece came over with the baby, Helena didn't want to see the baby. She was mean and uptight. Helena's niece was upset and started to cry. She was standing outside the door holding the baby. Her niece says, “Aunt Helena, I can't believe you are treating me this way. I love you, and I wanted you to see the baby. I'm sorry you lost Uncle Peter. We all lost him, and we miss him. You can't keep treating people like this. We are family, and we are here for you. We all love you. Plus, Uncle Peter does not want you to live this way. He wants you to be happy and live your life. He always wanted you happy.” Helena's niece walked away with the baby and got into her car, and drove away. When Helena's niece leaves out of the driveway, Helena sat down in her rocking chair and started thinking about what her niece said to her. She knew her husband didn't want her to live like this. He always told her that we would promise to stay happy if anything happens to one of us. Helena couldn't believe that she was rejecting the promise she made to her husband.
The next day she called her niece and apologized for her behavior. She decided to call her family and let them know she was sorry. Once her niece received the call from her Aunt Helena, she was thrilled with her aunt's apology. She immediately drove over to her Aunt Helena"s home with the baby. Once she arrived, Helena opened the door with open arms and started smiling with joy. Helena spent the whole day playing with the baby. Helena had to realize that even though her life is not there with her in human form, he is always there in spirit. Peter wanted Helena to stay happy and prosper in her life. He always wanted the best for Helena.
TRUTH:
When you find the love of your life, don't take it for granted. Having someone in your life means it's a person from whom you feel the warmest affection and gratefulness in life. You can feel the love, and without that person, your life can never be complete. Having a person you call your soulmate whom you love with all your heart, you would do anything for him/her. You can't imagine a life or future without him or her.
CONCLUSION:
When you find the love of your life, and he treats you with respect and unconditional love, you should keep him or her in your life. There will be a time in life that we will not be here on earth, and we have to continue life by ourselves without the love of our life. Just remember they may not be here in human form, but they are here with you in spirit. We have our memories, and we have something to remind us how great our lives were with them. Stay happy and live on the great moments.
