Be Confident In Yourself..
FREDDA LEARNS HOW TO BE COMFORTABLE IN HER SKIN..
Fredda grew up with a father and a mother who loved her very much. When Fredda went to school, all her classmates used to call Fredda bad names all the time. Fredda began to think that she would always be ugly and no one would love her but her parents. Fredda became very depressed and started eating a lot. She gained an incredible amount of weight and didn't care about herself anymore.
As she became an adult, both her parents died, and Fredda was all alone. She didn't know how to take the world by herself. She didn't talk to people or go out in the world much. She started becoming more excluded from the world. She only goes to work and back home. Fredda was afraid of rejection. She was scared that people who make fun of her body and how she looked.
Then one day at work, a handsome man named Maurice walked to Fredda's desk and introduced himself. Fredda was very nervous and shy. She was confused why he had come to her desk. She kept thinking to herself that Maurice was playing a joke on her. When it was time to leave work to go home, Fredda saw Maurice standing by the door. She was hesitant to pass him, but she knew that she had to leave, which was the only way out. Fredda started talking to herself, and she finally walked to the door. As she was walking out, Maurice grabbed Fredda's hand and pulled Fredda back to him, and said, "Fredda, I just want you to know that you are beautiful to me." Fredda looked at Maurice and pulled away and walked to her car, and drove home. All the way home, all she thought about was what Maurice said to her. When she got home, she kept thinking and thinking about Maurice comment. Fredda couldn't sleep at all. She just kept wondering why Maurice said that to her. She wanted to know if it was a prank.
The next day Fredda was sitting at her desk at work, and she saw Maurice. She didn't know how to approach him, but she softly called him over to her desk. Maurice barely heard Fredda, but he saw her waving him over to her desk. When Maurice came to Fredda's desk, he was smiling. Fredda became very nervous, but she knew she had to be strong. Fredda asks, "why are you so nice to me?" Maurice smiles and replies, "I can't be nice to a beautiful woman." Fredda replies, "You are playing games. Maurice, this must be a prank because all my life, I have been teased, and I never had anyone who thought I was beautiful." Maurice looks down and then looks Fredda in the eyes and replies, "I know how you feel because I have been through the same thing you are going through. People use to tease me every day, and I didn't know what to do anymore. I tried committing suicide, but I realized that I am on this earth for a reason and a purpose. I started working out and taking care of myself, and look at me now, not too bad, huh." Maurice showed Fredda photos of himself. Fredda was speechless and started to realize she should do the same thing. Maurice inspired Fredda. Every day after work, they would work out together.
A couple of years went by, and Fredda and Maurice became very close. Fredda started losing weight and feeling good about herself. She started dressing in sexy clothing and keeping herself together. Maurice was getting very attracted to Fredda. When they were working out, Maurice popped the question. He says, "Fredda, we have been great friends for two years, and I am very attracted to you. You are an amazing person, and I wouldn't want to be with anyone else but you. You made me a better man, and I love you." Fredda didn't know how to respond, so she just stared into Maurice's eyes. Fredda knew he was serious, and she felt the same way. Maurice asks, "Will you be my girl, my best friend, my lover, my homie, and my wife?"
Fredda replies, "YES! I would love to be your wife forever." Fredda was shocked and started crying. They kissed, and Maurice hugged Fredda tightly in his arms.
Fredda didn't know it was possible to find love, but she found a man who loves her regardless of her looks, and Fredda is pleased to know she can be satisfied with her skin.
A great way to practice feeling comfortable in your skin is by falling in love with your body and soul. If you spend time taking care of yourself, trying to be healthy inside and out, you will respect and like yourself more. Eat clean, exercise, meditate and do things that are good for you.
Being happy with yourself is the best feeling in the world. You have to be satisfied with your skin and comfortable enough to know you are beautiful. It doesn't matter what other people think about you as long as you know that God made you uniquely different from any other person on this earth. You are you, and they are them.
